What does the options mean?
SL100 Series is available in three different models:
- Flash: Flashes as the magnet passes the light. Stops when at a standstill.
- ReePower™ Flash: Flashes at a constant frequency and continues for two minutes when at a standstill.
- Constant: Shines with a constant light while riding and turns off when at a standstill.
Description
Installing the bike lights is a fast and effortless process. The lights attach to the hub and are suitable for all bikes equipped with v-brakes or cantilever brakes. The bike light generates its own eco-friendly energy through the combination of a coil in the dynamo and magnets on the bike's spokes, eliminating the need for batteries. Once installed, the lights are fixed in place and accompany you on all your cycling adventures. With the lights always on while you ride, you can feel confident and secure on the roads, day or night. ReePower™ Flash
The SL100 Series features ReePower™ Flash, a backup system that allows the lights to flash for two minutes while stationary.

Thanks a lot, Fernando! Judging from the design of the magnet module, this light is well over 10–15 years old. Unfortunately, it is not possible to safely disassemble and clean the light unit, but we do sell spare parts should you be interested.

The perfect way to be seen. I'm doing my best to assemble all the parts of a Dutch bike in my North American residence. These lights certainly got me one step closer.

They work well.
But the Light Emission ist just enough to make you visible for others. No Real Light for your own Vision.
Which is fine in the City. In rural regions take a Traditional Light.
Le montage sur un ancien vélo avec écrou et contreecrou . Quelques millimètres de plus dans la lumière du support auraient permis d'utiliser l'axe de la roue avec l'écrou principale.
I installed a set of SL200 on my wife's bike a few years ago. I selected this because of no charging, always on and hard to steal. I think they are perfect in town, where being visible is very important, but you don't actually need powerful lighting. After many years of usage without problems, the front light has been broken and I've been happy to find replacements. I also bought a SL120 for my kid's bike.
