The rainwear from Cleverhood is great for walking or riding travels and commutes. Made of sustainable, recycled polyester. Some of the jackets and capes have interwoven reflective threads that creates a bright hi-vis grid making you stand out on rainy days and nights. All their products are fully seam-sealed, and carefully crafted with many great details: The adjustable hood on the rain cape optimizes peripheral vision and under bike helmets. Armholes have magnetic closures that snap shut authoritatively. Velcro trim tabs brace the garment in wind as well as an inner belt loop for extra blustery days. - Just to name a few.
Gofluo is a small, Belgian based, start-up founded by Julie Vets. As a young mother with a background in fashion, Julie couldn’t bear watching all those ugly safety vests when dropping off her kids to school. However, she did want her kids to be safe and visible in traffic. Although Julie has an eye for cool, new brands, she couldn’t find any fun, good-looking hi-vis accessories. Convinced that high-vis wear can also look hip and fashionable she started drawing the first designs for Gofluo in 2016.
