LED lights move laterally

The LED lights and also the magnets were easy to assemble. However the mechanism to adjust the lights is not tight enough: the magnets move laterally.

Thanks a lot Francisco. Please remember to lock the light in the bracket using a flat head screwdriver (as illustrated in the user manual) - this will prevent the light from moving. You can write us at info@reelight.com if you need more asistance.

plastic has broken on AMS Light

hello, i like your products, i have 3 bikes with 3 differents products, 1 CIO, 1 SL100 (more than 15 years !) and a AMS Light. the plastic part of the rear has broken in 18 month, maybe i put the light too close (i can see friction on the light.
I will try to repair with steel before to command another piece.
the SL100 has this part in metal - not adjustable indeed but you can twist it- one idea is to try to put more steel in the future version of AMS Light.

Hi Xavier,

Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to replace any broken parts within the 24-month warranty period. Please contact us at info@reelight.com and provide pictures of the broken bracket. Thank you.

prone to brakeage

Sadly these lights are made in weak plastic details. smalest bump to the lights and they brake of. Not something for kids for sure. But the work fine othewise. I would love to see reelight making a more durable light, that would hold more the 1-2 years...

The lights are definitely not supposed to break that easily. Please write us at info@reelight.com with more information and we are happy to help you out. Thanks.

Light are removable

1 - Why gone to the trouble of fixing your light bracket to the wheel axle, while the light is "removable" i.e. steal-able.

Before purchase, I've explain to them I need recommendation as I intend to lock up this light (left side traffic) using a "wheel lock nut" even showing close photo of my bike, but they recommend this AMS, which is "removable".

2 - No left hand traffic option available (mount on right side of the bike), but the website didn't state it can work if using hub gear.

The lights are only removable once you release the lock on the brackets which requires a screwdriver.

Just OK, not bright enough

When you mount the lights, there is no lock or anything to prevent them from being stolen. They look brighter on the videos than the reality, they can be good for more visibility on the road but IMHO not enough. Probably if you add another set of magnets they would work better.
On the good side they are super easy to mount and the adapter for quick release works very well.

Thank you for the comments Ivan. Actually you can lock the light by inserting a flat head screwdriver in the side of the bracket and rotating 90 degrees. Try adjusting the lights to get them as close to the magnets as possible without touching. This will greatly improve the brightness.
